Abstract

On the basis of data gathered in 2008, the article deals with research on the autocorrelation of criminal offense recorded in the Register Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. The Moran’s I index value has been calculated at national level, whereas the value of the reverse weighted distance and zvalue were established at municipality level. The paper describes the possible causality of extreme values in municipalities considering positive (reverse weighted distance) and negative (zvalue) aspects. To identify the reasons for thefts and crimes, calculations of the local coefficient have been made at Lithuanian municipalities putting emphasis on territorial differences in the obtained highest values and actual causes.

Santrauka. Straipsnyje, remiantis 2008 m. nusikalstamų veikų, užregistruotų Vidaus reikalų informacinės sistemos Nusikalstamų veikų žinybiniame registre, statistiniais duomenimis, atliktas autokoreliacijos tyrimas: šalies mastu apskaičiuota Morano I statistikos indekso reikšmė bei atvirkštinio svertinio atstumo ir Z įverčio vertės savivaldybių lygmeniu. Aptartas galimas savivaldybių teigiamų (atvirkštinio svertinio atstumo) bei neigiamų (Z įverčio) ekstremumo reikšmių priežastingumas. Atlikti vagysčių (nusikaltimų) vietos koeficiento Lietuvos savivaldybėse skaičiavimai, akcentuojant gautas didžiausias išryškėjusių teritorinių skirtumų reikšmes ir jas lemiančias priežastis.
