Applications of contemporary decision making methods to the development of economy and technology

Aims and Scope

Technological and Economic Development of Economy (TEDE) (SSCI, JCR Q1, IF = 3.244) intends to promote research and applications of contemporary decision making methodologies to the development of economy and technology. In the past several decades, a lot of decision making methods have been proposed, such as the AHP, ANP, TOPSIS, VIKOR, COPRAS, UTA, MULTIMOORA, MACBETH, DEMATEL, PROMETHEE, ELECTRE, GRA, etc. These classical decision making methods have been extended into different context with uncertain information, such as interval numbers, fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, interval-valued fuzzy sets, gray numbers, hesitant fuzzy sets, linguistic terms, hesitant fuzzy linguistic terms, probabilistic linguistic term sets, and so on. In addition, new decision making methods, such as the BWM, GLDS, DNMA, SWARA, WASPAS, ARAS, and the variations of these methods have been constantly proposed by different scholars. These contemporary decision making methodologies provides a variety of techniques to the development of economy and technology.

The study on the applications of contemporary decision making methods to the development of economy and technology has become promising in the past several years. This call for papers is for the up-to-date modeling, analysis, computation and synthesis algorithms and approaches concerning contemporary decision making theory. Any theoretical, empirical, and experimental work related to contemporary decision making theory and associated applications in economy and technology is welcome. In particular, new interdisciplinary approaches of decision making in economy and technology applications, or strong conceptual foundation in newly evolving topics are especially welcome. We invite researchers and experts worldwide to submit high-quality original research papers and critical survey articles on the following potential topics and their applications, but are not limited to:

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with probabilities;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with fuzzy sets;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with linguistic terms;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with linguistic expressions;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with gray theory;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with probabilistic preference sets;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods in economy;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods in management;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods in engineering;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods in healthcare;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods in Artificial Intelligence;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods in government;

⋆ Contemporary decision making methods with big data.
